Fisker Atlantic officially revealed

Last night Fisker officially unveiled the Fisker Atlantic plug in hybrid, and it looks just as good as the Karma. Fisker didn’t reveal any information such as all electric range, or cost, or even estimated delivery date. All that Fisker Automotive said was that the Fisker Atlantic would come in at a much lower price point than the Karma. Chairmen Henrik Fisker suggested it would be in the range of an Audi A5 or upper end of the BMW 3 Series.

Perhaps due to the lessons learned with the Karma delays, Fisker has decided to keep quiet about its future plans with the Atlantic. They were, however, very clear that the Fikser Atlantic will be built and will go into production.

The Fisker Atlantic uses the second generation EVer (electric vehicle with extended range) technology that offers the benefits of electric drive while elimintaing the range anxiety eperienced with an all-electric powertrain. The Fisker Atlantic allows drivers to switch between electric and gasoline driving modes, and uses a 4 cylinder BMW engine to act as a generator.
