Leaked: News of performance Chevrolet CUV Electric vehicle

Back in October, GM released some teaser images of a Bolt EV surrounded by shrouded vehicles, and claimed they were planning 20 new electric vehicles for the next 5 years.

At the end of March, 2018, GM held it’s North American Dealers Association Convention in Las Vegas. Out of that meeting, some information was leaked by a dealer (I presume) on the CorvetteForum.com. It’s all mere speculation, but the Dealer posted on the forum “Another interesting announcement there is a performance electric car coming out, looked like a cross-over.” He went on to say that Alan Batey (executive VP of general Motors North America) was very clear in saying it was a performance cross-over, not simply just a cross-over.

Could it be a Model Y competitor? Will it beat Tesla to market? Or maybe it’s too close of a competitor to GM’s own Bolt EV, which means it will follow the Bolt? Hard to say… I guess we’ll just have to wait.

Here’s the link to the thread, although nothing else is said about the EV, as it’s a Corvette forum after all!
