Volkswagen announces US pricing for the e-Golf

This morning Volkswagen announced US price for its electric Golf that is due out in November. Volkswagen has priced it higher tha the $30,000 LEAF, and lower than the $40,000 BMW i3. BMW i8 receives EPA ratings – 15 miles electric range, 76 MPGe

The EPA has released it’s fuel economy numbers for the BMW i8. The electric range is 15 miles, although, technically, some say it’s 0 miles since it requires 0.1 miles of gasoline per 100 miles, even in electric mode.
