At the Vancouver International Auto Show, the Nissan LEAF was awarded 2019 Green Car of the Year by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada.
All of the entries in the contest are tested by more than 65 journalists across Canada, who then choose the vehicle they like best based on different road conditions throughout the year.
We are honoured to be recognized by AJAC members. We also appreciate the effort put in by AJAC to evaluate solely for this ‘Green’ category, separating traditional vehicles from those which offer advanced powertrains to bring the industry closer to more sustainable mobility

The award comes shortly after the Nissan LEAF passed 400,000 global sales.
Sales of the new, longer range, Nissan LEAF Plus will begin in Spring.
