At the New York Auto Show, Genesis (the luxury brand for Hyundai) unveiled a small 2-seater EV concept called Mint.
During the presentation, Hyundai commented on how they wondered why luxury city cars always come with lots of power, as well as their take on bumper-to-bumper parking. Their solution is the small, city runabout car, with side access ‘trunk’ space.
The all-electric powertrain has a 200 mile range, with 350kW recharging capability.
No production timelines or estimates are given, making the Mint seem like a purely conceptual exercise, rather than a pre-production test.
