This week Geely unveiled their new GE11 electric car – The GE11 is a new model and is a globally developed product that Geely plans to make as their first foray into the overseas EV markets.
However, the unveiling was pretty sad as that was basically it for the announcement. Oh, they also provided detailed dimensions for the new electric vehicle: “4,736mm long, 1,804mm wide and 1,503mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 2,700mm”
At the very bottom of the release is a footnote that says the GE11 has a top speed of 150km/h and is powered by a 177hp motor and lithium-ion battery pack. source
What about range specifications? What about pricing? What about availability and release dates, and which overseas markets Geely will be targeting?
With some other deep Google searching, I did find a comment in a recent Geely press release about a different one of their EVs, the redesigned Emgrand GSe all-electric SUV. In that release, Geely says the new Emgrand GSe gets an upgraded motor to 177 hp. Is it safe to assume this is the same motor used in the newly announced GE11?
If so, then we should be able to assume the GE11 is in the same NEV model line-up from Geely, which means:
With prices ranging between RMB119,800 and RMB145,800 after subsidy, the entire lineup of the NEV model features a battery range of 353km.

In an even older press release from Geely, they state the GE11 compact electric sedan will hit the market in the first quarter of 2019.
